Cholesterol 2007

Well, I'm not using this blog for anything else... so I might as well put SOMETHING here...

I got my cholesterol results back from May 22, 2007. I've been eating pretty badly of late, I have been eating lots of chicken wings and oatmeal cookies. BUT, I've been juggling, yoyoing, footbagging, and joggling enough to cancel it all out I guess:

Total Cholesterol=137
Triglycerides=91
HDL=34
LDL=85


Two years ago my Triglycerides were up over 300, so that's a good improvement.

Must be all the chilies and Oatmeal I'm eating.

What are the Cholesterol levels you are supposed to have again? Last time I had mine checked (College PhyEd) I had low LDL and high HDL, which surprised me.

I looked on wikipedia, and your LDL and HDL seems to ok, although your HDL is a little low. I recommend you eat some landjägers!

My HDL is double what it was 3 years ago! If I go couch potato my HDL hangs out around 17.

My LDL is higher if I don't do much and eat badly; however, my real problem is triglicerides, which I believe were up over 300 once. I've since stopped eating so much sugar and don't drink more than a soda a day.

I've been eating Oatmeal Cookies made with Smart Balance... not sure if they are good for you, but maybe they raised my HDL some?
